They’re both blond, they both have burned up the pop and country charts with their catchy songs, and they’re both Grammy winners, but Carrie Underwood insists there is no feud with her fellow artist Taylor Swift.
“No, not that I know of, at least,” Carrie told Gayle King on “CBS This Morning” on Wednesday, when asked about any tension between the two superstars.
Asked how she thinks rumors of a feud sprung up, Carrie blamed the gossip mags.
“In every magazine and every, pretty much newspaper or on gossip TV shows they can just get away with it by saying ‘a source said’ or ‘a friend said’ or ‘an insider said,’” Carrie told Gayle. “I read the most ridiculous things about myself when people do that.”
Carrie even revealed she’s a fan of Taylor.
“I really like, ‘I Knew You Were Trouble,’ which is one of her newer ones… It sounded a lot different for her. I liked the branching out kind of trying some different sound,” Carrie said.
