Casting Call: 50 Cent Feeling ‘Righteous’ With De Niro & Pacino

Calling all muggles – Harry Potter wants you!

Producers of the sixth Harry Potter film will hold an open casting call for the role of Lavender Brown, the sycophantic drama queen who becomes Ron Weasley’s first girlfriend.

Auditions will be held July 1 at Earls Court Exhibition Center in London.

On July 8, producers of “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” will start their search for a teenage boy to play Tom Riddle, who grows up to be the evil dark wizard Lord Voldemort.

Applicants must have identification to prove they are from Britain and are between the ages of 15 and 18.

Last year, about 15,000 girls lined up at open casting calls to audition for the roles of Luna Lovegood and Cho Chang for “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix,” which will be released next month.

50 Cent is in final talks to join Robert De Niro and Al Pacino in the crime thriller “Righteous Kill,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The rapper would play a drug dealer who helps detectives played by Pacino and De Niro as they investigate a serial killer.

Shooting is slated to being in September.

Jackson, who starred in 2005’s “Get Rich Or Die Tryin’,” will also share the screen with Nicolas Cage in “The Dance,” a dramatization of the life of one-time champion prize fighter Billy “The Kid” Roth, who has volunteered as a boxing coach for over 40 years in the prisons of Louisiana.

Shia LaBeouf is in negotiations to re-team with “Disturbia” director D.J. Caruso for another box office thriller, per The Hollywood Reporter.

“Eagle Eye” follows a twentysomething slacker and a single mother who are framed as terrorists and forced to become members of a cell with plans to carry out a political assassination.

The story is based on an idea by Steven Spielberg, who seems to have taken a liking to the budding star LaBeouf. The two have already teamed for “Transformers” and the next installment of the “Indiana Jones” franchise.

Fresh off his epic battle in “300,” Gerard Butler will join Thandie Newton, Tom Wilkinson and Ludacris in the film “RocknRolla,” per The Hollywood Reporter.

Butler will star as a street-smart mobster who plays both sides of the fence, while Wilkinson (“Batman Begins,” “The Last Kiss”) portrays an old-school mob boss who is quickly losing grip of his regime.

Newton will play Butler’s love interest and Ludacris (whose real name is Chris Bridges) plays an American trying to break into the UK music scene.

The plot revolves around a Russian mobster who orchestrates a crooked land deal and millions of dollars are thrown up for grabs, with all of London’s criminal underworld players wanting in on the action.

Mobster pic will be helmed by Guy Ritchie, whose credits include “Snatch” and “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.”

Filming began last week in London.
