Leonardo DiCaprio may once again play a historical figure in the upcoming J. Edgar Hoover biopic, according to Deadline.com.

Leo will reportedly play the first Director of the FBI in the Clint Eastwood-directed film, marking the first time the big screen heavyweights have worked together.

Oscar-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black (“Milk”) penned the script for the Warner Bros. movie, which has reportedly been fast tracked for production. The movie’s start and release dates have yet to be announced.

Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum are reportedly headed to the new romance drama, “The Vow.”

According to Variety, the duo will star in a movie based on the true story of Kim and Krickitt Carpenter, newlyweds who are involved in a harrowing car accident. Rachel will reportedly play Kim, who loses her all of her recent memory following the accident, with Channing playing her husband Krickitt.

Production is slated to start in August in Chicago and Toronto.

Hollywood heavy hitter Bradley Cooper is getting sent to the minor leagues in a new untitled baseball dramedy.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bradley will headline a new Disney movie penned by “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” screenwriter Allan Loeb.

The story reportedly follows Bradley’s character, a professional baseball player, who is injured and sent to the minors. Once there, he can only find housing at senior citizen’s group home. While mixing it up with his elders, he reportedly befriends a former baseball star who changes his life.

According to THR, the movie will have a “Scent of a Woman” meets “The Rookie” feel.

The movie’s start and release dates have yet to be announced.

“True Blood’s” bad boy vampire, Alexander Skarsgard, wants to sink your “Battleship”!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Swedish actor has signed on to star alongside “Friday Night Lights” star Taylor Kitsch in “Battleship,” the big screen adaptation of the classic Hasbro board game.

Alexander will reportedly play Taylor’s brother, a by-the-book naval officer, who helps the fight against an armada from another world.

“Battleship” starts shooting in Hawaii in August and will hit theaters on June 18, 2012.
