Casting Call: Halle Berry’s Multiple Personalities

What’s the only thing better than one Halle Berry personality? Multiple Halle personalities! Plus, why was Scarlett Johansson too old for “Napoleon?” And, little Rudy Huxtable is all grown up. It’s all in the latest edition of the Access Hollywood Casting Call!

Halle Berry has signed on to star in and produce the psychological thriller “Frankie and Alice,” reports Variety.

The film follows a young woman struggling with multiple personality disorder who finds herself torn between who she is and a racist Caucasian alter-personality that preys upon her mind.

No word yet when production will begin.

Next up for Berry is the drama “Tulia,” opposite her former “Monster’s Ball” co-star Billy Bob Thornton.

Emma Watson will step in to replace Scarlett Johansson in the period drama “Napoleon and Betsy,” per The Hollywood Reporter.

Watson will play Betsy Balcombe, a young noblewoman trapped on the isolated British Isle of St. Helena who falls in love with Napoleon, who has been exiled to the island.

Johansson bowed out of the project when the part began to skew younger. However, she will still co-produce the film.

Watson is best known for her role as Hermione Granger in the “Harry Potter” films. Filming on the latest chapter, “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” is wrapping up and shooting on the last installment in the series, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” is slated to begin in early 2009.

Watson is hoping to film “Napoleon” in the fall.
