Casting Call: Justin Timberlake In Talks For Clint Eastwood Baseball Film ‘Trouble With the Curve’

Justin Timberlake is possibly going to bat with Clint Eastwood.

According to Variety, the singer-turned-actor is in talks to co-star with Clint Eastwood and Amy Adams in “Trouble With the Curve.”

Justin will play a former pitcher who is now a baseball scout for the New York Yankees and also a love interest for Amy’s character, who is the daughter of Clint’s character.

The movie centers on an older baseball scout (Clint), who takes a road trip to Atlanta looking for a new player. Clint’s character is also dealing with his vision deteriorating.

“Curve” will mark Clint’s first film that he’s starred in and not directed since 1993’s “In the Line of Fire.”

Timberlake was last seen in 2011’s sci-fi movie “In Time.” The singer/actor’s many big screen credits include 2009’s baseball movie, “The Open Road,” where he co-starred with Jeff Bridges.
