Jessica Simpson has already enlisted and now she’s getting some “Major” reinforcements.

Vivica A. Fox, Steve Guttenberg and “SNL” alum Cheri Oteri will join Jessica in “Major Movie Star,” per The Hollywood Reporter.

The film follows the tale of Megan (Simpson), a somewhat clueless movie star who impulsively enlists in the U.S. Army Reserve after discovering that her boyfriend is gay and her cousin/accountant has stolen all her money.

Fox will play Sgt. Louisa Morley, an intimidating training officer who’s tough on Megan, while Guttenberg will play her controlling agent, Sidney Green, who’s furious at her for enlisting and at Gen. Greer (Grubbs) for keeping her there.

Jessica also stars in the upcoming comedy “Blonde Ambition,” alongside Rachael Leigh Cook and Luke Wilson.

Tony Sirico, best known as Paulie Walnuts from “The Sopranos” will star with Morgan Fairchild in the indie film “Sno Cone Stand Inc.,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The project, from newcomer writer-director-producer Travis Knapp, is a Texas-based comedy about three stockbroker trainees who hate their jobs and self-absorbed boss, Mr. Bob (Sirico), and try to get rich quick by launching a snow cone business.

Fairchild will play Mr. Bob’s sales manager.

Sirico’s film credits include small roles in a number of Woody Allen films, among them “Bullets Over Broadway” and “Mighty Aphrodite,” as well as Martin Scorsese’s ” Goodfellas.”

Fairchild, whose credits include “Flamingo Road” and “Falcon Crest,” recently starred on MyNetworkTV’s drama series “Fashion House.”
