Catherine Zeta-Jones & Michael Douglas Enjoy A Pizza Date Night

On the heels of news that Catherine Zeta-Jones spent time at a “mental health facility” seeking treatment for a bipolar disorder, the actress and husband Michael Douglas made time for a quiet night out on the town.

The longtime couple enjoyed a pizza date on Thursday night in Greenwich, Conn., grabbing a bite to eat at Pizza Post in the east coast town.

“They were in good spirits,” an employee at the restaurant confirmed to Access Hollywood on Friday morning, who noted it was Michael and Catherine’s first time at the eatery.

So, what did they have?

They ordered a margherita pizza, two sandwiches and a salad – to go, the employee added.

On Wednesday, a rep for the actress confirmed to Access Hollywood that Catherine had received treatment for a bipolar disorder.

“After dealing with the stress of the past year, Catherine made the decision to check in to a mental health facility for a brief stay to treat her Bipolar II Disorder,” the actress’ rep said in a statement at the time. “She’s feeling great and looking forward to starting work this week this week on her two upcoming films.”

She spent “about five days” in the center, according to People.

As for her upcoming films, Catherine has a number of projects in the works, including the sports dramedy “Playing the Field” with Gerard Butler, Jessica Biel and Uma Thurman; as well as the gambling drama “Lay the Favorite,” starring Rebecca Hall and Bruce Willis.
