CBS Shuffles ‘NCIS:LA’ & ‘Supergirl’ Episodes After Paris Attacks

CBS has shuffled episodes of two of its popular shows in the wake of the Paris terrorist attacks.

This week’s episodes of “NCIS: Los Angeles” and “Supergirl” will be replaced, the network announced on Sunday.

The previously scheduled “Supergirl” episode featured Melissa Benoist’s title character attempting to prevent a series of bombings in National City.

The plot of the now-replaced “NCIS: Los Angeles” ep featured a character recruited into terrorism.

In addition to the CBS moves, Stephen Colbert and “Saturday Night Live” offered support for the victims of the Paris attacks, NBC’s “Undateable” canceled its Friday live show, U2 and the Foo Fighters canceled concerts, and promotional events for “Bridge of Spies” and “Jane Got a Gun” were scrapped.

The “Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2” Los Angeles premiere scheduled for Monday will take place, but has been scaled down. The Jennifer Lawrence-led cast will not do red carpet interviews.
