Celebs React To Donald Trump Winning Presidential Election

Donald Trump was elected to America’s highest office
overnight, and celebs, many of which were Hillary Clinton supporters, shared
their reactions to the result on social media.

Lady Gaga posted a
photo of herself outside of Trump Tower in New York City, showing her holding a
sign that read, “Love trumps hate.”

“I want to live in a #CountryOfKindness where #LoveTrumpsHate,” she tweeted to accompany the pic.

Katy Perry, a Clinton supporter, also turned to Twitter to share her thoughts after the election was called for Trump.

“Do not sit still. Do not weep. MOVE. We are not a nation that will let HATE lead us,” she wrote.

Actor and activist Jesse Williams wrote, “Be tired. Be mad. Be honest & concerned. But be not afraid. Rest up. Be safe. Come together. Construct. Know your surroundings. Be creative.”

Businessman and “Shark Tank” Shark, Mark Cuban, who supported Hillary Clinton, tweeted, “We all need to give President-Elect Trump a chance. Support the good. Lobby against what we disagree on. No one is bigger than us all.”

Trump supporter Scott Baio shared his enthusiasm over his candidate winning the election in his Twitter post.

“Great faith in God works. Mr @realDonaldTrump I’m proud to call you President of the United States of America. And First Lady @MELANIATRUMP,” he tweeted.

Actor
Stephen Baldwin, another vocal Trump supporter, posted a pic showing him with
Sarah Palin that appeared to be from after the election. He tagged
“Saturday Night Live’s” Twitter account in his post, the sketch
comedy show where his brother has been playing Donald Trump in the last several episodes.

Another Trump supporter, action star Steven Seagal Tweeted, “Congratulations @realDonaldTrump for your stunning victory over your opponent!  Looking forward to making AMERICA great again!”

A Rolling Stones song — “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” — was played after Trump’s victory speech. 

Overnight, Mick Jagger, singer for the British rock group, tweeted, “Just was watching the news… maybe they’ll ask me to sing ‘You Can’t Always Get What You Want’ at the inauguration, ha!”
