Channing Tatum & Jonah Hill’s 21 Jump Street Sequel To Hit Theaters In 2014

Saddle up! Jenko and Schmidt are riding back to the big screen – and soon!

Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill will reprise their roles as bumbling undercover cops in a “21 Jump Street” sequel, Sony Pictures announced on Thursday.

The film is slated for theatrical release sometime during 2014.

Michael Bacall (who penned the first film, as well as “Scott Pilgrim vs. The World”) is writing the screenplay.

Dave Franco, whose character (Eric Molson) was presumably sent to prison at the end of “21 Jump Street,” may return in some form for the sequel.

“I’ve heard little things… They claim I’ll be around,” the actor told Collider in a recent interview. “Who knows how much they can use me because I’m in jail at this point, but I’m hoping they can find a creative way to have me be a pivotal part of the story.”
