Charity Folks & Rescue Train Create Art Auction For Pets

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (November 19, 2007) — Leading online charity auctioneers have teamed up with the Rescue Train organization for a unique art auction to raise money for homeless pets. To make this holiday season the best that it can be for hundreds of forgotten animals, Rescue Train is auctioning off one-of-a-kind signed artwork from some of Hollywood’s top celebrities and their four-legged friends.

Celebrities such as Drew Barrymore, Carmen Electra, Jessica Alba, Courteney Cox, Amanda Peet, Lauren Graham and Sean Hayes have teamed up with their own pets to create unique canvas art pieces which will be sold to the public. Other participants include: Famke Janssen, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, David Arquette, Jason Biggs, Jim Belushi, Paula Abdul, Mimi Rogers, Lou Diamond Phillips, Patrika Darbo, Wolfgang Petersen, Eric Roberts, David Faustino, Jane Lynch and Jennifer Coolidge. The auction will go live on the on Thursday, November 15 and runs through Wednesday, December 13.
