Charlie Sheen told Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush that he enjoyed CBS CEO Leslie Moonves’ recent remark to an investor’s conference in San Francisco, where Moonves said that he wishes the actor had “worked this hard to promote himself for an Emmy,” as he did bringing his dispute with “Two and a Half Men” to the media.
“That’s funny. That’s good, a good joke,” Sheen said when Bush read him the comments, which Moonves said at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media & Telecom Conference, and were printed on The Hollywood Reporter’s website, on Tuesday morning.
Moonves told investors that the current situation with “… Men,” which will not make any more episodes this season after production was halted by CBS and Warner Bros. Television following an series of radio interviews by Sheen, wasn’t a bad one. In fact, he said CBS was still making money off of the sitcom, which was the most watched show on Monday night, despite being a repeat.
In addition, Sheen said he will be sending his lawyer to CBS studios on Wednesday with an offer for the network boss.
“Well, I got Jake Bloom [Sheen’s lawyer] coming over tomorrow and I’m giving him my terms and he’s gonna bring ‘em to Les,” Sheen told Bush.
