It will be a big family reunion for Chaz Bono when he hits the ballroom on Monday for Week 4 of “Dancing with the Stars,” as his mom Cher and at least one other very special guest will be in attendance.
“I’m looking forward to her being there. She’s going to be there, and my stepmom, Mary Bono Mack, will be there,” Chaz said, breaking the news of the Congresswoman’s upcoming “DWTS” attendance to Access Hollywood. “And other members of my family [will be there], so it should be great.”
Cher has been vocal on Twitter, lashing out at those who have criticized her son’s appearance on the show. But, when Access Hollywood Live’s Kit Hoover asked Chaz if Cher might get out of her seat and confront the judges, Chaz said his mother would likely stay seated.
“I don’t think she’ll do that,” he said. “I wouldn’t mind it either, but I don’t think she’ll do that.”
Chaz landed at the bottom of the leaderboard earlier in the week, but he hasn’t given up the fight.
“It’s hard work, but I’ve been in it this long, and I’d like to stay in it,” the competitor, who is dancing with professional partner Lacey Schwimmer told Kit. “It’s taking a toll, but it’s also getting me into the best shape I’ve ever been in. So, that’s amazing.”
