Cheryl Ladd Talks New ‘Charlie’s Angels’: ‘Just Give Them A Chance’

The new “Charlie’s Angels” might have been met with mixed critical reviews and modest ratings for its first episode, but original “Angel” Cheryl Ladd wants audiences to give the new heavenly ladies a shot.

The actress, who is starring in The Hallmark Channel’s upcoming “Love’s Everlasting Courage,” stopped by Access Hollywood Live on Thursday where she dished on the reboot of the original series.

“I saw the pilot and I was surprised that it was really different from the original show, but different isn’t bad, different could be good,” she told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover.

Cheryl is hoping viewers continue to tune in for the new ABC series, which stars Minka Kelly, Rachael Taylor and Annie Ilonzeh.

“Come on, let’s just give them a chance to see what is going to happen,” she continued. “I thought the girls were terrific.”

But will Cheryl be dusting off her sexy secret agent gear for a cameo on the new show?

“I think there’s some chatter about it, but we’ll see,” she revealed to Billy and Kit. “It always depends on what it is.”

Catch the lovely Cheryl in “Love’s Everlasting Courage,” which premieres on October 1 at 9 PM on The Hallmark Channel.
