Chris Colfer Talks ‘Glee’ ‘Misunderstandings’ & New Movie ‘Struck By Lighting’

“Glee” star Chris Colfer is happy the confusion about his future on the hit FOX show has been resolved.

“Everything was just kind of a series of misunderstandings,” the actor told Access Hollywood on the set of his upcoming movie, “Struck by Lighting.”

“Everything’s good now. We are on the show, I don’t think we’re going anywhere,” he continued.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Chris and co-stars Lea Michele and Cory Monteith have seven-year contracts and though their characters will be graduating, they will not be leaving the show.

In addition to continuing with “Glee,” Chris is branching out on the big screen in “Struck by Lighting,” about a teen whose life is cut short by a freak accident.

“Unfortunately he’s killed [during] his senior year of high school by a bolt of lightning,” he said of the movie, which he also wrote the screenplay for. “The entire movie is a series of flash backs told from his point of view about his death and his last year of life.”

“Struck by Lighting” also stars “Mad Men’s” Christina Hendricks and “Modern Family’s” Sarah Hyland.
