Chris Harrison On Ryan Lochte’s Bachelor Chances: ‘You Can’t Pee In The Hot Tub!’

Ryan Lochte has expressed interest in becoming TV’s next “Bachelor,” but the series’ host, Chris Harrison, says the Olympian would have to give up his infamous hygiene habit if he wants to find love on the reality show.

“Here’s the problem: you can’t pee in the hot tub,” Chris told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson of the swimming champ’s “Bachelor” chances at the “Expendables 2” premiere in Los Angeles on Wednesday. “Apparently he told [Ryan] Seacrest he pees in the pool every time he gets in. You can’t pee in the hot tub — that’s not hot! That’s not sexy.”

Adding, “If he’ll leave the Speedo on [and] not pee in the pool, we’ll be good.”

Another cautionary flag? Ryan’s apparent affinity for “one-night stands,” according to his mother.

“He’d be a great bachelor. Well, didn’t he tell his mom, or his mom said he does a lot of one-night stands or something?” Chris asked, before jokingly adding, “I’ll make an honest man out of him!”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Ryan is definitely open to becoming the next “Bachelor.”

“I would think about it,” he told AccessHollywood.com’s Laura Saltman during an interview on the set of “90210” in Los Angeles on Wednesday, when asked if he’d consider looking for love on the ABC reality hit. “I definitely would because, you know, before I was training so much that I didn’t have time for a girlfriend, [but] I wanted to give that perfect someone my heart.”
