LOS ANGELES (November 17, 2006) – Rocker Chris Robinson has filed for divorce from Kate Hudson, Access Hollywood has confirmed.
Robinson filed the papers Friday in Los Angeles citing “irreconcilable differences” — three months after the couple’s separation.
According to the court documents, Robinson is requesting joint legal and physical custody of their son, Ryder, 2 1/2, and is not seeking spousal support.
Chris and Kate separated in August, as rumors swirled over a reported romance with her “You, Me and Dupree” co-star Owen Wilson
Earlier this week, Kate was in Australia shooting her new film, “Fool’s Gold” with Matthew McConaughey.
Kate, 27, and Chris, 39, were married in 2000.
