Chrissy
Teigen isn’t shying away from her American Music Awards wardrobe malfunction.
In fact, she’s embracing it!
The model
and TV personality made headlines at Sunday night’s show, after gracing the red
carpet in a double-slit Yousef Akbar gown held together with just one safety
pin on each side. Photographers snapped Chrissy showing a bit more skin than
she’d probably planned, but the 30-year-old laughed off the mishap on social
media the next day.
“Apologies
to anyone harmed mentally or physically by my hooha,” Chrissy wrote on
Instagram Monday morning, captioning a trio shot of her daring look.

Despite having joked on Twitter about shaving “above the knee” for the occasion, the new mom gave a Los Angeles laser hair removal clinic a shout-out in her post-show caption – along with her entire glam squad.
Fans shared a wide variety of reactions to Chrissy’s revealing number, but she didn’t appear to let the negative commentary faze her.

“What happened to being a lady?” one Twitter user asked, chiding Chrissy for opting to go “underwear-free.”
Chrissy not only responded, but also set the record straight with her trademark dry humor.
“I am pretty sure you could clearly see I’m a lady,” she wrote back.
