Supermodel and TV host Chrissy Teigen welcomed her first child, Luna Simone, with husband and musician John Legend, on Thursday, April 14.
The couple announced the news on social media on Sunday.
Chrissy wrote, “She’s here! Luna Simone Stephens, we are so in love with you! And sleepy. Very sleepy,” on Instagram, next to an image of the baby’s weight (6 lb 11 oz).
John Tweeted his excitement writing, “Our new love is here! Luna Simone Stephens, born on Thursday, the 14th. We couldn’t be happier!”

Chrissy previously opened up about her struggle to conceive in the April issue of Self magazine.
“Once we talked about IVF, it was like I heard everything,” she told the mag.
“Some people who are close to us had done it, like, seven to ten times… Emotionally, it could be really hard,” she added. “When you have these high-highs and low-lows, and you’re, like, cuckoo pants.”
