Christian Bale ‘Totally Oblivious’ To ‘Batman V Superman’

Safe to say, Christian Bale won’t be purchasing advance
tickets for “Batman V Superman” opening night.

Bale, who played Bruce Wayne/Batman in “The Dark
Knight” trilogy, said he’s not paying much attention to the upcoming
superhero installment, starring Ben Affleck as the Caped Crusarder and Henry
Cavill as the Man of Steel.

“I’m not thinking anything,” Bale told E! News at
the AFI Fest premiere of “The Big Short” on Thursday night in
Hollywood, when asked, “What are you thinking about [‘Batman V
Superman’]?”

“I’m sort of totally oblivious to it. I’ve removed
myself, but, yeah, I mean, great – I’m happy to have done and I’m happy to see what
someone else does with it,” Bale added.

As for his new film, “The Big Short,” co-starring
Ryan Gosling, Brad Pitt and Steve Carell, Bale raved to Access Hollywood at the
AFI premiere about the financial crisis project and working with director Adam
McKay.

“It’s brilliantly done. Nobody’s going to have any
difficulty with understanding it in a very thorough way,” Bale told
Access, referring to the complicated nature of the events that led to the
nation’s housing crisis during the 2000s. “It’s just bloody entertaining.”
