Christina Aguilera’s Divorce Finalized

Christina Aguilera is officially a single woman, according to a previous indication from a Los Angeles court.

The singing superstar, and current musician coach on NBC’s upcoming reality singing competition “The Voice,” and Jordan Bratman are officially divorced.

On February 15, a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge deemed that the former couple’s divorce would be final on April 15.

Aguilera first filed for divorce in October of 2010. The filing came just days after the couple announced their separation.

The former couple married on November 19, 2005 in Napa Valley, Calif. They have one son – Max, who was born on January 12, 2008.

Aguilera opened up about her divorce late last year, telling whttp://www.people.com she and her husband grew apart around the time she began filming “Burlesque.”

“We were great the first year after Max was born. Jordan was amazing. He was the first to change Max’s diaper,” the singer told People in December. “Then things turned. I was nurturing Max and felt independent in that relationship. Then I went right into filming ‘Burlesque’ [in fall 2009].

“As a musician, you’re with your posse all the time, and during the movie I removed myself from mine,” she continued. “So I had an independence I’d never felt before. I was growing leaps and bounds daily. I went from being a girl to a woman.”
