Less than a week after announcing she’s expecting her first child, Christina Applegate debuted her baby bump at the premiere of “Cats And Dogs: The Revenge Of Kitty Galore,” on Sunday and told Access Hollywood that getting dressed for the red carpet while pregnant has become daunting.
“It’s a disaster! Picking something to wear is a disaster!” the actress, who sported a black dress at the premiere, told Access. “My ass is as big as my stomach, so nothing really fits right! I kind of look like a knocked up Sandy from ‘Grease” right now.”
The 38-year-old actress said finding the right maternity outfit requires a good deal of time in the dressing room.
“You have to go through a lot of different styles and shapes to see what looks right on you,” Christina said.
As for the gender of the baby, the actress and fiancee Martyn Lenoble are keeping mum on the details.
“No, we’re just going to keep that one kind of…you’ll see!” she told Access, also keeping quiet when asked how far along she was. “That’s another one, I’m gonna keep that one…somewhere between zero and nine and half months.”
