Chuck Liddell Ousted From ‘Dancing’ Ballroom

Chuck Liddell may have made his name as an ultimate fighter, but he was beaten by the dance floor on Tuesday night.

A public vote and low marks from the judges on his country two-step from Monday, led to the retired fighter exiting the “Dancing With the Stars” ring.

“I had fun,” he told show co-hosts Tom Bergeron and Samantha Harris after learning the news. “We had a good time, we made a run at it. I mean, it’s difficult, it’s hard to do. So we made a shot at it.”

Chuck’s elimination means Anna Trebunskaya, his professional partner, is also out of the competition.

“It was great,” she said of training Chuck for the ballroom. “I had so much fun working with you. I mean you are a gentle giant, you are my bear and you are my hippo, but I loved working with you… I’m so proud of you.”

Chuck’s elimination wasn’t a big surprise, but Aaron Carter’s place in the Bottom 2 was.

Aaron, who previously topped the leaderboard with his partner, Karina Smirnoff, at the start of the competition, had the next lowest overall score.

Next week the celebrities will try out either the Argentine Tango or the paso doble. They will also compete in a group hustle.
