The Royal Couple is now honeymooning!
The Palace announced on Tuesday that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – Prince William and Princess Catherine – have departed for their post-wedding getaway.
Official details about the couple’s honeymoon are not being released, but on Monday a source told Access Hollywood that the couple did, in fact, travel to the Seychelles, in the Indian Ocean and were spotted at the airport.
A rep for the Palace called the couple’s trip “a private matter” and said they would not speculate on pre-wedding reports that the couple would honeymoon somewhere within the British Commonwealth.
Britain’s Daily Mirror first speculated that the couple would travel to the Seychelles, in the Indian Ocean, but the Palace noted that this was unsubstantiated information and they would not confirm the report.
Their honeymoon destination might be a secret, but as previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the couple announced they will be traveling to California for three days in July after they visit Canada in late June for a week.
