Corey Haim Left Out Of Oscar ‘In Memoriam’ Tribute

Corey Haim was not included in the “In Memoriam” tribute on Sunday’s Oscars.

The Academy recognized a slew of Hollywood notables who passed away over the past year, including Lynn Redgrave, Leslie Nielsen, Tony Curtis, “Titanic’s” Gloria Stuart, Jill Clayburgh, Dennis Hopper, Lena Horne and publicist Ronni Chasen.

Haim, whose credits include “The Lost Boys,” “Lucas,” “License To Drive” and “Dream a Little Dream,” died on March 11, 2010 at the age of 38.

After being omitted from the Screen Actors Guild Awards’ “In Memoriam” tribute in January, Haim’s longtime co-star and friend, Corey Feldman, spoke out.

“We have become used to not being honored by our peers in the industry,” Feldman told The Hollywood Reporter at the time. “I have faith that the Academy will make a wiser choice.”

A spokesperson for the Academy was not immediately available for comment when contacted by Access Hollywood on Sunday night.
