Courteney Cox: The Final Word On ‘Friends’ Reunion?

Sorry “Friends” fans – at least you’ll always have reruns.

Courteney Cox visited David Letterman for a new interview on Monday night’s “Late Show” and, par for the course, Dave had to ask if we’d ever see Ross, Joey, Monica, Rachel, Chandler and Phoebe back together again one final time.

“It’s not going to happen,” Courteney smiled when asked if the long-awaited reunion would ever come to be.

While the “Cougar Town” beauty noted that although she’d be up for it, she thinks it would be too difficult to wrangle all six original cast members.

In fact, she’s tried.

“Let me tell you something, there’s six friends and I’ve been trying to put together a cast dinner for 10 years. It doesn’t happen!” Courteney explained. “I can get the girls to come, maybe Matthew Perry. Matt LeBlanc canceled last time right at the last minute, Schwimmer lives here [in New York City], so it’s just not gonna happen.”

Of course, Courteney isn’t the first one to douse hopes of a “Friends” reunion. Most recently, series co-creator Marta Kauffman squashed the idea back in April 2013. Jennifer Aniston also nixed the idea in 2012.
