The O.J. Simpson small screen story has cast its leads.
Cuba Gooding Jr. will star as the former football star-turned-murder-defendant in FX’s “American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson,” the network announced.
“American Horror Story” star Sarah Paulson will play lead prosecutor Marcia Clark in the 10-episode miniseries, which will focus on the infamous trial from the perspective of the lawyers.
Each season of “American Crime Story” will highlight a different real life, headline-making crime.
Ryan Murphy (“Glee,” “American Horror Story”) will direct the FX show, as well as executive produce.
Joining Murphy as executive producers are Brad Falchuk (who co-created “Glee” and “American Horror Story”), Brad Simpson and Nina Jacobson.
