‘Dancing’ Evictees Kate Gosselin & Shannen Doherty Longing For The Ballroom

Kate Gosselin may have been booted from “Dancing with the Stars” last month, but as AccessHollywood.com previously reported, she will be returning for the finale.

On “Kate’s Take,” the reality star’s official blog, the mom revealed she is missing the competition and looking forward to her return – alongside partner Tony Dovolani – on the ABC reality show’s season finale.

“I think there better be one more dance left in me: Get ready for the DWTS finale on May 24, 25!!! I’ll be there,” Kate wrote

Kate said that while judging her eight children in a home dancing competition (they all got 10s), she felt a longing for the ABC show.

“My eyes landed on my abandoned dance shoes and a wave of sadness mixed with a longing came over me,” she wrote. “Suddenly I missed EVERYTHING about dancing.”

Kate said she’s been keeping in shape via running on the treadmill, but can’t wait to dance again.

“Without a doubt, Dancing with the Stars was a life-changing experience. I learned many valuable lessons and many things about myself,” she continued. “I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything!”

In related news, another competitor who left the ballroom early – Shannen Doherty, the first star to get the boot in Season 10 — is also itching to get back on the dance floor.

On Tuesday, Shannen hit her Twitter to claim she wasn’t able to rehearse with partner Mark Ballas.

“Just found out I’m have to do new dance for finale of DWTS yet they won’t let me rehearse…um what?” she Tweeted. “So strange, finale is important and I really want to do well yet they just told me Mark doesn’t want to rehearse until later. How do I do it.”

“I don’t like complaining but if I can make myself available to rehearse and do good for all of you then why can’t they?” she added, noting she wanted to dance to the Beastie Boys’ song “Sabotage.”

On Wednesday, however, it appeared everything worked out and practice for Shannen and Mark was set to resume.

“funny how things get mixed up in the game of telephone. Spoke to @OfficialMBallas and he’s in, always has been! Happy to be dancing with him,” she wrote.
