‘Dancing’ Judge Carrie Ann Inaba To Undergo Surgery

“Dancing With the Stars” judge Carrie Ann Inaba is scheduled to undergo surgery on Wednesday in Los Angeles, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

The surgery is to relieve pressure and stiffness in her neck due to a condition called spinal stenosis, which occurs due to a narrowing of the spinal canal, which causes compression on the nerves.

“I have arthritis. The space around my spinal cord has become compressed,” Carrie Ann told People. “I have been locked. My neck was so stiff. We’re hoping this procedure will relieve that.”

But the “Dancing” judge, who helped crown Donny Osmond the new champ on Tuesday night, said she doesn’t expect any complications to arise from the surgery.

“I’ll be fine and if this surgery goes well, I may have another one in the future,” she added.
