‘Dancing’ Loses Another Celeb, One Week Before The Semifinals

Four couples are heading through to the Season 13 semifinals on “Dancing with the Stars.”

(SPOILER– this story contains the results from Tuesday’s “DWTS.”)

The ballroom jury, however, has spoken and host Nancy Grace and her partner – first time professional (former troupe member) Tristan MacManus – will not be joining them.

On Tuesday, the HLN host was eliminated from the competition, taking Tristan out of the game too.

“I am so proud, but I really cannot take the credit,” Nancy said after learning the news.

Turning to her partner, Nancy praised her Irish ballroom hunk, who she – at times – appeared to have a tense relationship with – for getting her just shy of the semifinals.

“It’s been all Tristan from the get go, and the whole crew from ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ my family who flew out here to take care of my twins so I could dance, all of you and especially to you Trist — thank you,” she said, caressing the 29-year-old’s face.

“Nice,” a surprised Tristan responded. “That’s [it], all paid off now.”

While it’s a competition for the celebs, Tristan managed to get his partner further than many more seasoned “DWTS” alumni, and he shared his gratitude with the audience for embracing the pair.

“Thanks for being very welcoming to me and also to Nancy and we’ve really, really had a fun time and it’s the support that we get from you all that really pushes us on to do it, and we can’t be disappointed to make [it] this far,” he said. “From the start, we’ve always said to each other, it’s not about being the best, it’s just about doing your best and I think that’s what we did.”

“DWTS” returns with the semifinals on Monday at 8/7C on ABC with Rob Kardashian, Ricki Lake, Hope Solo and J.R. Martinez competing for mirrorball glory.
