‘Dancing’s’ Kyle Massey On Disney Pal Demi Lovato: ‘She’s Going To Be Fine’

Disney Channel star Kyle Massey believes his pal, Demi Lovato, is going to be fine following her admission to a treatment facility for what her rep recently said are “emotional and physical issues.”

“I really don’t know too much about it, but I do know that Demi is a good friend of mine and whatever is happening, whatever is going on, she’ll still be fine,” Kyle told Access Hollywood’s Tony Potts backstage at “Dancing with the Stars” on Tuesday night. “She has an amazing family, her mom and dad are awesome dudes, so she’s going to be fine, just give her some time.”

Kyle who found success playing Raven Simone’s brother on “That’s So Raven” said the “Sonny with a Chance” and “Camp Rock” cutie is tough.

“Dude, she’s going to be fine, like Demi is such a…. She’s a hard worker, she’s a strong girl, she’s going to be fine,” Kyle said.

While he hasn’t spoken to her yet, Kyle said he knows Demi is aware how much he cares.

“She knows I love her, dude. Demi is awesome, man,” Kyle said. “Oh, and Demi Lovato gives the best hugs in the world, she knows it and I’ve told her so many times, you can quote me dude… She gives the best hugs in the world. Get a hug from Demi and watch.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Demi dropped out of the Jonas Brothers tour in Peru on Saturday over what a sign posted outside the venue said were “health reasons.”

On Monday, her rep confirmed to Access that the singer had entered treatment.

“Demi Lovato left her tour early this weekend in order to seek medical treatment for emotional and physical issues she has dealt with for some time,” the teen’s rep said in the statement.

“Demi has decided to take personal responsibility for her actions and seek help. She is doing just that and Demi and her family ask that the media please respect their privacy during this difficult time,” the statement continued.
