‘Daredevil’: The Kingpin Speaks In The First Official Trailer

The official trailer for Marvel’s “Daredevil” debuted on Tuesday, giving fans the chance to hear from the franchise’s villain, The Kingpin.

“You and I have a lot in common,” says Kingpin (aka Wilson Fisk) – played by “Law & Order” fan favorite Vincent D’Onofrio – to Charie Cox’s Daredevil in the over-2-minute trailer for the Netflix series. “I respect your conviction. The lone man, thinks he can make a difference.”

“We’re nothing alike,” answers the blind lawyer-turned-superhero.

The clip also shows “True Blood” alum Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, and Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple.

And there’s a nice little Marvel tie-in included in the trailer, as Toby Leonard Moore (as Wesley) tells two beat up thugs, “Maybe if he had an iron suit or a magic hammer, that would explain why you keep getting your asses handed to you.”

“Daredevil’s” 13-episode first season will be available on Netflix on April 10.
