David Duchovny is still new to Twitter, but he’s already set it alight by Tweeting his former “The X-Files” co-star Gillian Anderson.
The pair’s Twitter exchange kicked off on Tuesday, when David probed Gillian through the social networking service about keeping Twitter “a secret,” before ending his Tweet by referencing her character from the ‘90s FOX sci-fi drama.
Hi @GillianA why did you keep twitter a secret from me all these years ? I’m here and I heart scully 😉 What’s up?

Gillian sent “Mulder” her love from Northern Ireland, where she is reportedly filming Season 2 of “The Fall” with “Fifty Shades of Grey” hunk Jaime Dornan.
And I heart Mulder all the way from Belfast. @davidduchovny

The exchange delighted fans, and she kept it going with David on Wednesday, by Tweeting a Mulder/Scully drawing, referencing their respective locales.
