DeAnna Pappas On Brad & Emily: ‘The Odds Are Against Them’; Talks Her Own Wedding Planning

DeAnna Pappas knows what it’s like to have her heart broken by “Bachelor” Brad Womack, but the former “Bachelorette” is rooting for him and Emily, while aware of how tough it is to make it work.

“[Brad and Emily] are sticking it out, they’re trying to make it work and I hope that they can and I’m rooting for the two of them,” DeAnna told Access Hollywood at the SVEDKA’s Night of a Billion Reality Stars Gala on Thursday in Los Angeles.

“I was really pulling for Emily from day one so I’m hoping they can make it work,” she added.

The reality star, however, wasn’t shy in admitting the hardships that the reality TV couple faces.

“Let’s be honest, the odds are against them and I hate saying that, but it’s tough, it’s tough to make a relationship work in this situation,” she conceded.

DeAnna was also quick to praise Brad and Emily for being so open and honest with their problems, and admitted that she wasn’t as brave to admit her issues with her “Bachelorette” pick, Jesse Csincsak.

“I am proud of Brad because at a moment where they were having problems they admitted it and they faced it forefront in front of America, where I didn’t do that. Jesse and I were having problems from day one and I was too scared to let anyone in and see that side,” she said. “We just faked it so when we broke up people were so surprised because we acted like we were so much in love.

“So hands down to Brad for at least being real and honest and he’s very good at that,” she said, wryly adding, “Clearly, [he] didn’t choose me.”

DeAnna has found love and is now engaged to fiancé Stephen Stagliano and the two are in the throws of wedding planning.

“The only thing that is a problem is the guest list, it continues to grow and grow and grow but other than that we have a dress, we have bridesmaid dresses, we have cake, we have venue, we have food. We’re set. Let’s get married!” DeAnna said.

“As cliché as it sounds, everything happens for a reason and I’m a firm believer of that,” she added.
