Dennis Hopper Files For Divorce

Dennis Hopper is getting a divorce.

According to paperwork filed in Los Angeles Superior Court and obtained by Access Hollywood, Dennis, 73, filed for divorce from his wife Victoria, on January 14.

Dennis cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.

Dennis and Victoria, his fifth wife, married in April 1996.

The marriage lasted 13 years and 9 months.

The couple has a daughter, Galen, 6. Dennis has asked for joint physical and legal custody of the youngster.

The actor, a star of the legendary “Easy Rider” film, revealed in the fall that he had been diagnosed with cancer and he said he had been battling it for the past nine years.

Hopper previously told the Associated Press that he had started an experimental treatment at the University of Southern California.

“It has great promise,” Hopper said at he time. “Everything’s good right now.”

Hopper recently wrapped up filming the second season of “Crash,” a television drama on the Starz cable network.
