Derek Hough Injured During ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Rehearsal

Say it ain’t so! Derek Hough has sustained multiple injuries.

“We can confirm he was injured last night rehearsing for the ‘DWTS’ 10th Anniversary special,” a rep for the show told Access Hollywood on Tuesday.

The pro dancer shared (and quickly deleted) an ominous photo of his legs on Monday night – his right foot in a boot, and his left ankle wrapped and supported by and aircast. His friend and fellow “DWTS” pro Mark Ballas is seen in the background giving a thumbs down sign.

“Just getting home from the hospital,” he captioned the photo. “Not the best of news. I’m in utter disbelief.”

Mark also shared (then deleted) a pic of Derek in a wheelchair, and revealed he stayed with his injured pal in the emergency room.

“Long night in the ER with @derekhough nothing worse than seeing a fellow dancer get hurt especially your brother,” Mark captioned the pic, adding that his girlfriend and dad were also on hand to support Derek. “But he had me @bcjean & @corkyballas there by his side. #fam.”

A source confirmed to Access that Derek did suffer an injury to his toe on one foot, and his ankle on the other leg.

No word yet on whether the injuries will prevent the 29-year-old star – who is currently partnered with gymnast Nastia Liukin – from competing in “DWTS” next week or performing as the male lead in the “New York Spring Spectacular” at Radio City Music Hall, scheduled to run through May 3.
