Dianna Agron Fears Upsetting Fans If She Were To Play Young Carrie Bradshaw

Miley Cyrus isn’t the only star in Hollywood itching to slip into a pair of Carrie Bradshaw’s first Manolos in the “Sex and The City” prequel – “Glee’s” Dianna Agron would also love to play the beloved character, but said she’s aware of the pressure that comes with stepping into those shoes.

“Of course,” Dianna told Access Hollywood at the “I Am Number Four” premiere in Los Angeles on Wednesday, when asked about the possibly of playing the young Carrie in “The Carrie Diaries.”

“I mean, who hasn’t seen every episode 5 million times,” she continued. “But, then again, you run the risk of people hating it. I mean, how do you compete against Sarah Jessica Parker? She originated that!”

Earlier this week at Justin Bieber’s “Never Say Never” premiere, Miley confirmed that she would like to be considered for the role.

“I would love it,” Miley told Access. “I’m not attached, so I don’t want to say that, but that would be very cool.”

The project, to which “Sex” director Michael Patrick King is reportedly attached, has not even been green lit yet. However, author Candace Bushnell has reportedly said that she’d love to see Cyrus in the role.
