Dish Of Salt: Kim K’s Wedding Dress Dilemma, Beckham’s Baby Joy and Sue Sylvester For President!

You’ll have to wait until Thursday night to catch VH1’s Do Something Awards, an awards show which honors young people – and celebrities — who give back to their communities. I, however, have the scoop from the red carpet and backstage.

Kim Kardashian got ready for the big night with her close friend Demi Lovato, but they had no clue they would both be donning the same color dress at the actual event.

Demi dazzled in a short ivory dress, while Kim went for a floor-length Antonio Berardi gown, which she joked was the color of “cement.” Wearing that ivory dress, she inched ever closer to the traditional portrait of a bride in white, as her August 20th wedding to Kris Humphries is just days away. Does she have any wedding jitters? Check out my interview with Kim HERE.

According to Tyra Banks, Kim’s actually got two wedding gowns to choose from. The supermodel turned reality TV producer told me that Kim asked her if she would help her choose between the two gowns, which she would be showing her photos of later that night. “I’m so flattered,” Tyra exclaimed. “I know you guys are dying to know what it is and I’m going to help her!”

Adam Lambert was the last of the stars to arrive, just minutes before the show started, and he was eager to chat about his sophomore album, which he is excited to bring to the fans.

“I’m very excited to finish this album I’m working on because I think they are going to devour it!”

I have no doubt about that. Check out more from my interview HERE.

Also hitting the red carpet was Justin Bieber, who walked swiftly down the arrivals line, ignoring reporters rather than just going in the back door like David Beckham, Will Ferrell, Jon Cryer, Olivia Wilde and Amy Poehler chose to do. Fortunately, the always-dapper Becks came backstage, where I had the chance to chat with him about his new baby girl, Harper, whom he calls “beautiful,” “gorgeous” and “healthy.”

Sure, finally adding a little girl to his brood which includes son Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz is great, but I just had to ask what happens when little Harper is a teenager and wants to go on a date. Check out why he thinks this won’t be a problem in my interview HERE.

One day prior to the show, I had an exclusive invite as host Jane Lynch rehearsed for the gig. The “Glee” star is, of course, getting ready to host the Emmy Awards next month and joked she is using this experience to get out all her mistakes. The “Glee” cast went back to work last week and Jane revealed that her character will be running for political office on the show. Could this mean Sue Sylvester for President? Check out the answer in our interview HERE.
