Donald Trump Defends Gisele Bundchen’s Post-Super Bowl Outburst: She ‘Didn’t Do Anything Wrong’

He may be a huge New York Giants fan, but “Celebrity Apprentice” boss Donald Trump thinks Gisele Bundchen spoke the truth when she was caught slamming Tom Brady’s teammates following the New England Patriots’ disappointing loss at the Super Bowl.

“She’s standing up for her man and Gisele didn’t do anything wrong,” Trump told Access Hollywood as he took part in a taping for Discovery’s “American Chopper,” in New York City on Wednesday. “She’s standing up for her man and she happened to be right. They were dropping balls all over the place.”

While he supported Gisele, Trump told Access that British rapper M.I.A., who flipped cameras the bird while performing with Madonna at halftime, was in the wrong.

“M.I.A. did something that should not have happened,” he said.

Trump did, however, enjoy the rest of Madge’s halftime show.

“I give thumbs up to Madonna,” he said.

While Trump is busy with the new season of “The Celebrity Apprentice,” which premieres Sunday, February 19 at 9/8c on NBC, and “American Chopper,” which premieres on February 13 at 9/8c on Discovery, he was able to offer his prediction for the Giants’ Super Bowl fate next year.

“I think the Giants will be back again next year,” he said of the New York team returning to the big game. “They have a great coach, they have a great team, they have a fantastic quarterback — I think they’re gonna be back.”
