Elijah Wood can sing, but the penguin he voices in the animated movie “Happy Feet” cannot.
Wood says he purposely had to sing-off key. He says it was a lot of fun to sing poorly, but he couldn’t hit enough wrong notes to suit those behind the camera.
He says the sound crew made his penguin sound “even worse.” Wood says he “can’t even sing that bad.”
The penguin Elijah Wood voices in ‘Happy Feet’ dances instead of sings, making him different from other penguins, and Wood says when he was a kid, he also felt different.
The movie opens today.
