Elton John & David Furnish Reveal Son Zachary To The World

Elton John and David Furnish have revealed their son Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John to the world.

Elton and David gave the world exclusive of their baby tale and the first photo to the UK’s OK magazine, posing with baby Zachary on the cover.

“I’ve never felt anything like it in my life,” Elton told the mag of holding Zachary for the first time. “You’re so awestruck, I will never forget that feeling ever.”

Despite the couple’s wealth, Elton and David plan to raise Zachary with love, not possessions.

“I’m ready to have a child and lavish my love on our son and not spoil him materially,” the superstar singer said.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, their child, born via a surrogate mother, was born on Christmas Day.

Baby Zachary’s birth comes after a 2009 heartbreak when the couple was unable to adopt two children from the Ukraine – a 14-month-old named Lev and his 3-year-old brother, Artyom, who is HIV positive.

Although they were unable to adopt those two children, Elton told the mag he is involved in helping them find a home.

“We’re still consulting about finding the best possible home for them,” he said.

“We feel awful,” David added. “We keep hitting red tape. But we’re not giving up until they’re out and in a safe, supported home.”
