Elton John and David Furnish’s family continues to grow!
“Elton and David are very pleased to announce the birth of their child Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John on Friday, January 11,” the singer said in a statement on his website.
According to Hello! magazine, who the couple spoke to about their new arrival, little Elijah weighed in a 8lb. 4 oz., and was born in Los Angeles via a surrogate.
“Both of us have longed to have children, but the reality that we now have two sons is almost unbelievable,” the couple said in a statement to the mag.
Adding, “The birth of our second son completes our family in a most precious and perfect way. It is difficult to fully express how we are feeling at this time; we are just overwhelmed with happiness and excitement.”
The singer, 65, and David, 50, were married in 2005. They welcomed son Zachary in December 2010.
