Emma Watson In Talks To Play Cinderella

Emma Watson appears to be trading in her wizard robes for a glass slipper.

According to Variety, the actress is in talks to star in Disney’s live action “Cinderella.”

The latest fairytale movie will be directed by Kenneth Branagh, with Cate Blanchett slated to play the wicked stepmother.

Emma, who was last seen in “The Perks of Being a Wallflower,” was first approached in 2009 to play the princess in a musical project that Marilyn Manson was going to write and direct.
