Eric Stonestreet is known for posting funny videos to Vine and Instagram and the “Modern Family” star recently joined Tinder, a dating app, looking for new material.
While it started as a joke, the actor said he’s become semi-hooked.
“I joined it as s goof for my Instagram, because I heard about it and wanted to do an Instagram video of my just liking every girl – age, shape, face, color, creed, the whole thing – because I feel like that’s the comment on guys,” Eric told Access Hollywood Live’s Billy Bush.
“Girls are the opposite where they’re very selective — they’re only choosing like only 10, or five or seven percent of guys,” he added.
Eventually, Eric ended up enjoying the app.

“So I did that just as a gas… and then I was like, ‘This is kind of addictive!’ And I’ve met a few nice girls,” he said with a laugh.
Not all of his Tinder experiences have been positive though.
“I’ve had a range of experience on Tinder, meaning not great, really fun, super fun, and then meet really nice people who are potential girlfriends,” he said.
