A few months back, rumors flew claiming Eva Longoria was dating “Ready For Love” bachelor Ernesto Arguello.
While the former “Desperate Housewives” star, 38, said she wasn’t dating him at the time, she has revealed she and Ernesto are now together.
“I think that’s why our relationship is so special – we truly started as friends,” Eva told People of her blossoming romance with the 34-year-old Miami-based entrepreneur.
The actress met her new beau when he was cast in NBC’s “Ready For Love,” the short-lived reality dating show Eva produced. (It aired earlier this year.)
Initially, Eva said she and Ernesto were just pals, but then they began to see each other in a new light, thanks to media suggestion.
“I guess we have the press to thank for pushing us to see something we didn’t see!” she told the mag.
And things between the new couple are heating up quickly. Eva just returned from a trip to Nicaragua, where she met Ernesto’s entire family.
She also accompanied him on a recent trip to Honduras to visit a school and homes he’s built for needy families in his native community, the mag reported.
Eva confirmed the happy news on Twitter on Thursday, Tweeting, “Happy to share NOW that it’s true! Couldn’t be happier…”
Ernesto replied, writing, “Me too baby, I LOVE YOU.”
