Eva Mendes Tops ‘Most Desirable’ List

Megan Fox is desirable. So is Rihanna, Anne Hathaway, Beyonce and Access Hollywood’s own Maria Menounos – just ask the folks at AskMen.com.

But it was Eva Mendes who was dubbed the most “Desirable” of them all in the Web site’s list of the “Top 99 Most Desirable Women of 2009,” it was announced on Wednesday.

More than 10 million votes were cast by AskMen.com readers, ranking Hollywood’s lovely ladies based on which stars “represent the qualities of the ideal girlfriend or wife,” according to the site.

“Of all the qualities I find attractive in a man, paying me such a compliment tops my list. Thanks, guys!” Mendes said when hearing of the results.

Rounding out the top five were “Transformers” star Fox, models Marisa Miller and Keeley Hazell and Hathaway.

“It’s awesome to be on the AskMen.com list again! I’ve had such an amazing year and to know that I have fans that care enough to vote and support me is really flattering,” Marisa Miller said.

Other notable stars making the cut included Heidi Klum (#11), Halle Berry (#13), Angelina Jolie (#42), Eva Longoria Parker (#45) and “Gossip Girl” stars Leighton Meester (#54) and Blake Lively (#59).

Access’ Maria Menounos finished at No. 55 on the list, ahead of such beauties as Taylor Swift (#57), Emily Blunt (#58), Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger (#65) and Jessica Simpson (#70).

“I’m honored to make it in the Top 99 list by the AskMen.com fans,” Maria said.

Britney Spears barely made the cut, coming in at No. 90, while two-time Golden Globe winner Kate Winslet rounded out the list at No. 99.

Some of the first-timers on the 2009 list included Katy Perry (#39) and Tina Fey (#97).

“Whether it’s the latest movie, comedy sketch or political phenomenon, the ‘Top 99 Most Desirable Women’ list is a unique pulse-check of the women that our readers are not only following, but perceive as more than just a pretty face,” said AskMen.com editor-in-chief James Bassil.
