LAS VEGAS (May 10, 2007) Although only days are left before the 42nd annual Academy of Country Music Awards, a host of stars have just confirmed appearances on the May 15 broadcast.
Country mega-stars Faith Hill, Toby Keith, Big & Rich and recent American Idol guest Martina McBride have joined the list of performers. The musical stars will join a host of already confirmed performers Kenny Chesney, Vince Gill, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, George Straight, Carrie Underwood and host Reba McEntire who will appear in a live number with Kelly Clarkson.
Shania Twain has been signed up to participate in the event.
Among the stars lined up for the telecast are Dr. Phil and his wife Robin McGraw, Kellie Picker, Sara Evans, CSI star Gary Dourdan, Nancy Drew actress Emma Roberts, Darius Rucker, Old Schools Luke Wilson as well as Tracy Lawrence and Blake Shelton.
The Awards will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand in Vegas May 15.
