Fantasia: Ready To ‘Pick Up And Move On’

NEW YORK (December 15, 2006) — She’s fallen off the horse of life, in any number of ways. Now, Fantasia says she’s ready to climb right back on again.

She says after recording an album, doing a movie about her life and an autobiography, she wants to leave her past in her rear-view mirror.

Her newest album is one that features a lot of up-tempo tunes. She tells The Associated Press that’s part of the new side of herself she wants her fans to see.

She says she is stepping up her music to let people know that “you can pick up and move on.”

And she says that’s even true when it comes to her personal life. She says she’s “looking for love again” and while she’s been hurt in the past, she has decided she could be lonely the rest of her life or give love another try.
