Lucky mega fans thought they were getting a sneak peek at “The Fate of the Furious” — they thought wrong!
Comcast XFINITY recently pulled a fast one on a couple of “Fast and the Furious” superfans by taking them to a special “Drive-Out Cinema” screening of the new movie, “The Fate and the Furious.”
The XFINITY customers were taken to cars from the film in a drive-in movie setting. As the movie played out on-screen in front of them, their drivers started the cars and launched into some real-life racing action!

Comcast XFINITY also released a behind-the-scenes featurette showing how they put the elaborate prank together.
Jeff Tremaine (“Jackass,” “Bad Grandpa”) directed the “Drive-Out Cinema” stunt. And, actual stunt drivers from the “Fast” franchise–Oakley Lehman and Ken Gushi–were behind the wheel driving the surprise participants.
