‘Fifty Shades’: Jamie Dornan Screamed At By Haterade-Drinking Matt Bomer Fan

An angry fan took #NotMyChristian straight to the man himself, Jamie Dornan has revealed.

The Irish hunk, who plays Christian Grey in “Fifty Shades of Grey,” said he’s well aware his casting in the upcoming BDSM-themed big screen romance didn’t go over well with some fans – including a few who have made their discontent very (awkwardly) well known.

“The other day, this woman came up and started shouting at me, ‘Matt Bomer’s the real Christian Grey,'” Jamie told ELLE magazine, in an interview for their February issue. “And I was like, ‘Um, OK.'”

The 32-year-old star, whose sexy movie hits theaters on February 13, realizes that it’s virtually impossible to satisfy all Christian-lovers, as – let’s face it – readers of the erotic series have already lived out their own fantasies (mentally) with a Mr. Grey of their own personal liking.

“I mean, even if you cast Matt Bomer, or Alexander Skarsgard, or Charlie Hunnam, or any of those other guys—we’d all just be doing our best, you know?” he told the mag. “Christian Grey—he isn’t a real person.

“He’s a superhero—a myth,” the actor added. “He’s like Bigfoot!”

And Jamie pointed out that the likelihood of finding an unbelievably hot billionaire, who’s extremely gifted in bed and only has eyes for one somewhat plain woman in reality is pretty far-fetched to begin with. Sigh.

“[Christian] is unbelievable. He’s unattainable,” he told the mag. “There’s no actor in the world who could live up to that.”

Jamie’s “Fifty Shades” on-screen mom Marcia Gay Harden thinks the actor will make the role plenty hot for most fans though.

“Let’s face it, it’s all about sexual fantasy. You have a hundred million women who’ve read about the things Christian does to Anastasia, and imagined him doing the very same things to them,” the actress told ELLE. “Now, the question is: Who would you want doing these things to you? No one single person could ever satisfy everyone’s fantasies.

“But I think Jamie’s going to satisfy quite a few,” she added.
